Bird Days: Mississippi River Flyway & Migratory Bird Day are being celebrated in the region. It’s the peak time to observe warblers, ducks, shorebirds, and amphibian night sounds along the shoreline of the Mississippi River and Lake Pepin. More information on the blog.

Jimmy’s Pub has Slippery Elm performing at 8:00 pm (fifth floor of the St. James Hotel) in Red Wing.

Just returned from the annual Minnesota Bed and Breakfast Association Conference in Brooklyn Park. Drive back to Red Wing was gorgeous. Trees were just starting to put out leaves on Sunday and they were very bright green when we returned. Tulips are out in front of the B&B. Getting ready for a full house this weekend.
